Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund was established to develop and support philanthropic programs that promote awareness and education for eye and vision health. To achieve this goal, the Endowment Fund Advisory Committee develops and promotes financial planning programs supported by philanthropic contribution from our generous constituency.

The Endowment Fund is now an established entity of Optometry’s Charity™ – The AOA Foundation that offers those who wish to make donations in support of the profession of optometry; primarily in the form of scholarships and tributes.

Scholarships: Endowed scholarships can be established to provide lasting annual scholarships for optometry students. Support for scholarship grants is one of the most important investments you can make in the present and future success of optometry students.

Tributes: The Book of Memory & Tribute is designed to encourage individuals and groups to make donations for endowment purposes in the names of those who have obtained various achievements or who are to be immortalized. Optometry’s Charity™ also accepts endowment gifts to benefit all of its entities. The Foundation staff will work with you to structure an endowment gift to best support the program of your choosing.
